The military has its Navy Seals. And its Green Beret.
The most elite of the elite.
Pacific Palisades has its Bluebird Ambassadors.
As in the poem,
“Life is sweet, tender and complete
When you find the bluebird of happiness
You will find perfect peace of mind
Knowing there’s a bluebird of happiness
Veterans Gardens is hoping to create a fraternity of outstanding, respected, happy, selfless, confident Palisadians that are full of life and joy.
A “Bluebird Ambassador” would commit to being the Ambassador at Veterans Gardens one day a week – for 2 hours from 8:30 to 10:30 in the morning.
With a home station of the ‘chalet’ at Veterans Gardens (which will be completed by July 15), Bluebird Ambassadors would greet its Palisadian morning guests, offering them a water, along with a copy of “The LA Times,” “USA Today” and “New York Times,” some magazines, and an assortment of games (such as chess, checkers, etc.).
The founding Bluebird Ambassadors would help define the dress code and other specifics of establishing the specifics around the Bluebird Ambassadors.
Most importantly, the Bluebird Ambassadors would be the face of Pacific Palisades; welcoming our Palisadian guests to their home in their park.
